Let's give every kid a great summer

Give a Summer believes that all kids should have great summer experiences, that far too many don't, and that we can and we must change that (and that we will). Give a Summer identifies key challenges blocking that progress, and develops promising policy, advocacy, and program ideas to meet them. It works with great partners to improve these ideas and implement them.

Give a Summer

Give a Summer is a Boston-based non profit working to expand access to great summer opportunities to all kids. We work by developing promising, high-impact new initiatives towards that end; piloting those initiatives with other collaborators; actively sharing our results and tools; and persuading others to follow our work in their own communities or at larger scale.

Currently, Give a Summer focuses on i) helping communities better understand where and why kids miss out on summer programs and ii) enlisting mentor organizations and other volunteers to help more kids get excited about and take part in great summer opportunities.
